Hope everyone had a wonderful Thanksgiving! Mine was filled with wonderful new people in a stunning new place. Bend, Oregon to be exact. This was the first time I had traveled there, much less traveled to the high desert that is the majority of Oregon. Let's just say this visit provided a TON of new inspiration, and I can't wait to visit again (although next time on a non-holiday so I can check out their many little boutiques where I could only window shop). The town had a wonderfully lodge-y style, which I personally fell in love with. If you check out my inspiration, you'll see that I have a thing for dark houses and steeply pitched roofs, and there were plenty of gorgeous ones to look at!
While driving, I was able to finally get up close and personal with Mt. Hood. While navigating the twists and turns, along with the striking, awe inspiring snow capped volcanic peaks surrounding Bend, the mountains captured me.
I imagined myself in the car below.
Passing these guys.
On my way to climb this.
That adventure awaits for another day. Now is the time to work. Until then, happy making!
